    Smti. Atenla Ao Completed her schooling upto Higher Secondary from Dimapur , Nagaland.
    Pursued 5 years integrated B. A. LL.B and master degree in law (LLM) from Guwahati, Assam.
    Practiced before the Hon’ble Guwahati High Court and the subordinate courts of Kamrup (m) Assam and subsequently before the District Court Dimapur, Nagaland.
    Prior to joining the Nagaland Judicial service, she was appointed as Assistant Public Prosecutor (APP) under the department of Law and Justice, Government of Nagaland and posted at Dimapur.
    Currently she is posted at District Court Mokokchung as the Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC).
